In 1991 Tony and his wife Laura started and incorporated Tony's Services Inc, Also know as Tony's Pool Service. We began in our basement with one van and no computer. We are truley amazed at how our business has grown over the years. Our company has grown through word-of-mouth referrals and continues to rely on the satisfaction of our clients to this day. Laura is the office manager and handles the accounting for the business.
In 2012 Tony's oldest son, Jacob (Jake) joined the team after leaving a corporate desk job. Jacob has learned the business very quickly and has taken on more responsibility over the years. He is also factory trained and certified by Cover Pools, Pentair, Zodiac and is also CPO certified. As Tony steps back Jacob will be taking the reigns.
In June of 2017, after taking the business into the digital age we found ourselves once again needing more help in the office. As fate would have it, Diane Johnson had just been layed off after 14 years with Office Max, She came on board and quickly learned the receivable end of the business. She has become a great asset to the company.
We are now into our third generation. Our Grandson Benjamin has joined us over the last few summers on a part time basis. He is now 19 and will continue working summers as he finishes his college degree in film making. As you can imagine he brings a new level of understanding to the technical side of things!
We also have long time employees who have become a part our business family. Glenn Hayes has worked with us since 2012. We will be hiring new team members soon, and we hope you can meet them in the future!
We believe in giving young people their first summer job. Something we feel is a right of passage. We recruit through the local high schools and church youth groups. Most of these students return year to year through college. Former employee Grant Martin was with us for 10 years, starting as soon as he could drive. After graduating from college he has continued to train to become a Forest Ranger and fire fighter, and is now employed by the US Forest Service.
